Premios: Mejor actor y mejor apartado técnico en el Festival de Cannes, César a la mejor pelicula extranjera... Un total de 19 premios y 30 nominaciones.

Lo mejor: Su absorbente e hipnotizante atmósfera, gracias a su bellísima fotografía, a la acertada direccion artistica y a la ya mítica banda sonora de Michael Galasso (ver escena con el famoso tema "slow motion feelings" de fondo)

Lo peor: Puede hacerse lenta para los pocos iniciados

Me hablaron hace tiempo de este director. Nunca he visto una película suya, más que nada porque el cine oriental suele ser muy lento para mi gusto.

todavía tengo en mi mente esa sucesión de fotos que era Dolls de Kitano.
